FitOS Support
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Apple Health?
Open FitOS → Settings tab → tap Connect Apple Health under Integrations. iOS will show you a permissions sheet — toggle on the categories you want FitOS to read (steps, sleep, HRV, heart rate, workouts, etc.) and tap Allow. If you ever miss a prompt, open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → FitOS to enable each category manually.
How do I log a meal?
Go to the Food tab. Tap the + icon on any of the six meal slots (Breakfast, Mid-morning Shake, Lunch, Pre-workout, Post-workout, Dinner). Either pick a preset or switch to Custom Food and enter the name, calories, and macros yourself. Totals update instantly on your dashboard.
How do I start a workout?
On the Workout tab, tap Start Workout and choose a template (Push, Pull, Legs, Upper Body, or Full Body). Log your weight and reps per set and tap the checkmark when you complete a set. When you’re done, tap Finish — duration, calorie burn, and a 0–21 strain score are calculated automatically.
How do I delete all my data?
Because FitOS stores everything on your device, uninstalling the app removes 100% of it. Long-press the FitOS icon on your home screen and tap Remove App → Delete App, or go to iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → FitOS → Delete App. To remove Apple Health permissions specifically, use iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → FitOS.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. FitOS has no server, no account system, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that phone home. Everything lives in your phone’s local app sandbox and (if you grant access) Apple’s on-device HealthKit database. See the privacy policy for details.
Is FitOS available on Android?
Not yet. The first release is iPhone only because Apple HealthKit is core to the recovery score. Google Fit / Health Connect support is on the roadmap.
